Heathrow traffic at standstill due to climate change protest

Protestors have blocked a tunnel leading into Heathrow Airport, bringing traffic to a standstill.

The airport said the tunnel affected leads to Terminals 2 and 3, used by mainly long-haul airlines including Virgin, United, Delta, Emirates, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines and British Airways.

Snow storm- US east coast

Storm Niko with heavy snow is due to hit on Wednesday evening through to Thursday. It will effect Philadelphia, New York and Boston. Virgin already permitting free changes until 12 Feb, other airlines may do the same soon.
